Silicon/Silica Substrates


We offer the ultra-flat silicon and silica wafers of the prime grade. These silicon and silica wafers are perfect for chemical deposition or cell growth while the 5mm x 5mm diced chips are ideal for direct AFM and SEM imaging. The silica substrates are silicon substrates uniformly coated with a 200 nm thermally grown SiO2 surface layer. Compared with the transitional chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method, the thermal oxidation provides a higher uniformity and a higher dielectric strength. 

  • Prime/CZ Virgin grade

  • Orientation: <100>; Type:  P/Dopant: Boron

  • TIR < 3 μm, TTV < 10 μm, BOW < 10 μm, roughness < 0.5 nm

  • Available in many formats: 5 mm x 5 mm diced chips in gel membrane box (25 pieces per box), 2'' wafers (single side polish, thickness: 300 um), 3'' wafers (single side polish, thickness: 400 um), 4'' wafers (single or double side polish, thickness: 525 um), or 6'' wafers (single side polish, thickness: 525 um).

Quartz Cuvettes

  • JGS1 optical quartz products that are perfect for UV/Vis, fluorescent, and AFM measurements

Quartz Crucibles, Quartz Boats, Quartz Plates, and Silica Crucibles



  • Temperature tolerance can be as high as 1450°C for quartz products

  • Acid, base, and organic solvent-resistant

  • The silica crucibles are mainly used for the melting of platinum, K gold, gold, silver, copper, stainless steel, and other high-temperature alloys. The product has the characteristics of high strength, high-temperature corrosion resistance up to 2800°C, and excellent thermal shock resistance.
